While this is the time of year where we get to learn about all the new goodies in the 2018-2019 Annual Catalog; it’s also the time of the year to say goodbye to some of our favorite products. With this years color revamp it also means saying goodbye to some of our favorite colors as well. I’ve had my time to mourn just a little bit over my retiring go-to colors and now it’s time to dive right into the new colors and get to know these new amazing collections!
The colors we will be saying goodbye to are as follows:
Dapper Denim, Emerald Envy, Flirty Flamingo, Peekaboo Peach, Sweet Sugar Plum
Always Artichoke, Chocolate Chip, Elegant Eggplant, Island Indigo, Marina Mist, Perfect Plum, Pink Pirouette, Rose Red, Soft Sky, Tangerine Tango, Tempting Turquoise, Wild Wasabi, Wisteria Wonder
Now you may be wondering what colors will be replacing all those that are leaving? Well we have these brand new colors coming to the Stampin’ Up! family!
Plus the following returning colors:
Blackberry Bliss, Coastal Cabana, Flirty Flamingo, Mint Macaron, Mossy Meadow, Poppy Parade
I’m so excited to see Mint Macaron coming back! It was one of my favorite In Colors the year I became a demonstrator and I was so sad to say goodbye to it. Now I get to use it and so many more! Let’s not forget about the new In Colors in all the craze over these new collections!
That’s not all that’s changing. This color revamp is also introducing a new ink pad design! There’s a new and more simple way to open them, better color labels, and (this is my favorite part) they’re stackable! I haven’t gotten my hands on any organizational tools for my ink pads but now I won’t have to. Which means more money going to new stamp sets!
I’m sure you’re dying to see the new colors in their families so let’s get to it!
I love how fun the 2018-2020 In Colors are! They are such a bright bunch of primary colors which will be lots of fun to play with. I’ve been wanting to get into brighter colors and I think these are the best way to start using them!
Now there are 5 new collections; Basics, Neutrals, Brights, Subtles, and Regals. The Basics include Basic Black, Very Vanilla, and Whisper White. This is the group that consists of the very basics for card making.
Neutrals consists of colors designed to go with everything. Brights are perfect for a fun and eye catching card. Subtles have a plethora of pastels to add a subtle softness to any card. With Reglals bringing up the rear they are the color family that have deep jewel tone colors, perfect for a color rich project.
It may take some getting used to but all these colors have me so excited to play around with! I hope you are all ready to say goodbye to some staples and hello to some new and returning favorites. I can’t wait to get my hands on these colors and to lock myself away for the rest of the summer!
Why I’m so excited I’ll be releasing a bonus post this Sunday all about the new colors and creating color palettes to suit each of them! You can follow my blog to get a notification when it goes live. You can check below to follow me on Facebook or Instagram; where I’ll be posting pictures of some of my new goodies I have in the mail!
