Now that July has ended I wanted to look back on some of my favorite products this past month. Whether it was colors, Designer Series Paper, or stamp sets; I wanted to share with you guys what I’ve been loving. I tried to be more adventurous with my stamping and I think I’ve branched out a ton from when I had started. I know I have a long way to go before I’ve really gotten far away from my comfort zone, but I think starting with different things I’ve loved will help me as well as you into pushing your own limits!
STAMP SETS
One of the sets I’ve fallen back in love with this month has been the Coffee Café stamp set. I had ended up getting but not using it last year when it was part of the annual catalog but I’ve come to really love it this past month. It’s been so fun getting inspiration from all the colorful summer drinks. Plus I love that the sentiments are great for sending a card to that special someone you have to catch up with!

Another stamp set I’ve been loving on has been the Make a Difference set. I’ve used it on every card I’ve made since this awesome set has come out. Whether it’s the alphabet stamps to make my own personalized greeting or just a little way to let someone know the card was hand stamped just for them; this set is absolutely instrumental for crafters. The versatility of the set is so great and I’m still playing around with a bunch of projects using this very set!

BIG SHOT
To go along with the Coffee Café set, I’ve been using the coordinating framelits as well. I’m not gonna lie, while I love the big shot I’ve noticed in the past months I’ve been slipping away from using it. This month I wanted to play more with it and I think these are absolutely perfect to design your own coffee cups! Do you guys want to see a project featuring these and the Coffee Café set? DSP
What isn’t there to love about this Specialty Designer Series Paper? I love everything from the intricate designs to the more simple patterns. My favorites DSP packs have always been ones that have a variety of options that you can pair with the suite or other designs as well. I love that some of the designs are reflective and it’s been great to add a little pop of shine to a card. It’s actually been on of the few DSP packs that I haven’t been afraid to cut up and play with!

COLORS
One of the first colors that came to mind for this past month was Fresh Fig, which honestly surprised me. I haven’t been too keen on the 2017-2019 In Colors. While I think they look great, they haven’t really caught my eye until now. I’ve been loving pairing this with different combinations of colors that change the feel of a card. Pairing it with bright colors has let it contrast and pairing it with oranges and darker colors gives me such fun fall vibes!

Night of Navy has always been a color I can never get enough of and I’m so glad it’s found it’s new home with the neutrals. I love using it in place of Basic Black or another neutral base color. Something about adding a little color while still being something that can slip into most color palettes makes this my most popular card base color!

Another color that I usually can’t get enough of! While I’m a fan of pinks and purples, I find that Rich Razzleberry is such a beautiful middle ground. It’s a bit darker on the pink side but has the slightest hint of purple to give it more depth. I’ve been pairing it with Fresh Fig this past month and something about the two colors together just keeps me going back for more!

Last, but certainly not least of my favorites, is Calypso Coral. I tend to go through phases where I like to play with warmer colors and Calypso Coral has been one of my favorites this past month. Something about the almost orange and warm quality of the color has me pushing my comfort zone of cool purples and blues!
