Today is Mother’s Day and for some it’s a time to celebrate the women in our lives. This week I wanted to tackle some card designs for Mother’s Day but I wanted to make sure to include everyone in this post! I know I’m grateful to have a great relationship with my mother (who also happens to be a Stampin’ Up! demo herself) and so today’s post is dedicated to her; for showing me the world of Stampin’ Up! and for being my own personal cheerleader.
With the snow melting at last and spring peeking around the corner, I finally get inspired to stamp. This is the time of the year when we find out which of our favorite products will be retiring and to say goodbye some fun colors. When I got my sneak peek at the new 2018-19 Annual Catalog and I had only three words; I can’t wait! I am so excited for all the new goodies coming your way!
Have you ever wished you could be off fighting a dragon, swimming in the deepest depths, or conjuring sights to behold? Me too and with the Magical Day set you can do just that. This set is perfect for someone on their own magical day or even for kids to color and play with. This was the one set I wanted more than anything at OnStage live in November and guess what? I was lucky enough to win it during prize patrol that very same weekend! As soon as I got home I was inspired to create these cards using products from both the Occasions and Annual catalog.Read More »
The day is finally here; the 2018 Occasions Catalog and Sale-A-Bration have arrived and I feel like I could be dancing all around my stamp room! When I got to sneak a peek at these amazing products back in November I was in love. There are so many versatile and amazing sets, I wanted to buy the whole catalog right then and there. Not to mention the innovation that has gone into some of my favorite products. Today starts some of my favorite months in the Stampin’ Up! year. Sale-A-Bration lasts until March 31, 2018 and the Occasions Catalog goes all the way until May 31, 2018!
To kick off these next few months I wanted to challenge myself to create a group of cards around 1 color scheme. My go-to was black and white with a pop of color and some gold thrown in. Instead of going for one of my usual colors I decided to switch things up and use a color I almost never do. It even became one of my favorite colors I’ve ever used!
